How to Spoil Mum at Home this Mother's Day

It’s that time of year again to celebrate and show your appreciation for the most fantastic woman of all, Mum! Mother’s Day this year might feel a little different given the current Government restrictions, but that does not mean it has to be any less great!

We have done the thinking for you and put together a bunch of gift ideas and activities you can do with Mum at home to make sure she still has the best Mother’s Day ever.

Breakfast in Bed

It’s not Mother’s Day without a breakfast in bed, right? Our tip is to start off by making sure Mum is extra cozy with a super fluffy robe from Best and Less. Surprise her by bringing her a cup of tea in a brand-new mug, Kaisercraft have heaps of mugs to choose from which she’s sure to love! Accompany this with a takeaway croissant from The Coffee Club and Mum’s day is off to a fantastic start.

The Perfect Gift for Coffee Loving Mums

Once breakfast is out of the way and Mum is enjoying her sleep in, it’s time for the gift!  We have got the perfect gift for coffee loving Mums who enjoy an extra little boost on those busy mornings.  Pop into Harvey Norman and pick up a Breville Espresso Coffee Machine, they have a wide range of machines to suit everyone from on the go Mums to certified baristas! Complement her new espresso machine with a set of double glass espresso cups from Robins Kitchen and a bag of original blend coffee beans from Café Two 14 and she’s set.

High Tea at home

It’s time to put Mum’s new coffee machine to good use with a High Tea, isolation style. First you need to ensure the table setting makes mum feel likes she’s at the Plaza Versace in the comfort of her own home. Pop in to Pillow Talk and pick up some new placemats, décor and cutlery for that extra wow factor. If you’re a bit of a chef check out Loran Jane's range of healthy yet delicious cook books. If cooking isn’t quite your thing then we recommend ordering the takeaway Mother’s Day High Tea banquet from The Vintage Apron. They also have a delicious take-away sweets and cakes for a lighter meal.

Afternoon Activity

Mum’s day isn’t over just yet. Something hand-made is always going to have mum feeling special. Spend the afternoon creating something beautiful together. Kaisercaft is your one stop shop for at home activities. Pink up some Mont Marte Polymer Clay to make matching jewelry or some canvases and paint to create a masterpiece she can proudly display at home.  If you decide on jewelry making, take it that one step further by getting a pendent engraved at Mister Minit!
